Um... again, nothing really. He's definitely a more pitiable figure than Roger and a clear victim of peer pressure, but... Jesus H. Christ, murder is a pretty serious thing to allow yourself to be talked into.

- Starvation

- Degrading remarks about Alan and Alan's mother and father

- Neglect

- Cruel and Unusual punishments

- Inflicting of hard labor

- Unenumerated acts of cruelty and humilation in the eight years Alan was under his "care"

- Beating and choking Alan into unconsciousness

~ General neglect of his own wife and children, mostly because of his alcoholism

~ Despite being married, committed several acts of unwanted flirtation towards several women, including his wife's sister, Nicole Hart

~ Self-destructive behavior; excessive drinking

~ A bizarre fascination with Melanie Fairchild, who, in his experience of knowing her, was never older than sixteen

None. Seriously, he's been nothing but a sonofabitch the moment he showed up in my imagination.

~ A disturbingly possesive attitude towards his sister, Mel, which might just be toeing the line of Freudian

~Does genuinely love Mel and the rest of his family, and would no doubt die for any one of them (except possibly Rufus and Rebecca...that's still up in the air)

~ I'm nearly positive that man has several deep insecurities

~ Has always been the oddball of the family (though it's never been so defined that he should feel as alienated from them as he does)

~ Definitely suffers from feelings of rejection over Mel's repeated choice of her boys over him
