Character Analysis

Elizabeth is Jennifer's younger sister, the second and youngest of Frank and Jenna McGregor's children.

As a child, Elizabeth loved to tag along with her older sister and her friends, but, being five years younger, it was easy for her to fall behind.

Eventually, She began dating Edward Fairchild, the younger brother of her older sister's boyfriend. Like their elder siblings, the two fell in love. In 1976, the two were married.

As a mother, Elizabeth is loving, but more than that, patient and compassionate. When her only son, Rufus, came out at the age of fourteen, she swept it aside as inconsequential, loving him all the same and even eventually inviting his boyfriend, Nik, to stay with the family for a spell.
