Born in 1976, Eliot was raised in London.

After earning his MBBS, he entered St. George's medical school. There, in his second year (1999), he met and fell in love with Wendy Fairchild.

The two were married in 2001 and had their first child, Nora, in 2004. They took posts at the hospital in Wendy's hometown in Surrey.

Easy-going and eloquent, Eliot was immediately well-liked by his wife's family and friends. Geoff especially has a fondness for him, even though Geoff had been Wendy's last boyfriend before her marriage.

In 2005, it was Eliot and Wendy who were called on to deliver Diana's baby when she went into premature labor, and, again, later that year, when Kate gave birth to baby Nicole.
